Group-IB, a global cybersecurity provider, has published its research into a large-scale phishing scheme in which scammers impersonate one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leading manpower agencies (KSA).

Most trips begin with a plane or train ticket, and travel enthusiasts are frequently interested in finding a good deal. Kaspersky experts have discovered a slew of bogus websites claiming to offer users the opportunity to purchase cheap airline tickets. Such websites are typically well-crafted phishing pages that imitate well-known airline services and ticket aggregators.

Scammers frequently use the guise of well-known companies to reach out to a specific community. The attackers in a new malicious activity discovered by Kaspersky experts were hidden behind the technology company Nvidia.

Scammers select popular YouTube videos and leave comments promoting a fake “breach” in cryptocurrency market. To make their message more visible, they falsify statistics in comments and use bot replies to amplify the initial comment.
