Sharjah Sustainable City, an eco-friendly community developed by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in collaboration with Diamond Developers, hosted a delegation of students and faculty from the American University of Sharjah (AUS) last week, who toured the project site to become acquainted with sustainability concepts, their integration with the urban landscape, and their positive impact on the environment.
Emphasising long-standing success of this annual competition, Hanadi Khalife, Senior Director of MEA & India operations IMA said, “This year’s competition is unique as it comes on the heels of the world healing from the COVID-19 pandemic and giving students the opportunity to really think out of the box when developing their case proposals through interaction and guidance from experts.”
The GDCSS Summit will include a number of events and conversations, including keynote talks from the genuine Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort, Peter Hopwood, Natalie Brunwell, Brett King, and Dr. Yana Leonova, among others.

The ground-breaking AI programme, which Coventry University co-developed with AI startup Symanto from the ground up, is designed to better assess student behaviour, allowing the university’s Student Engagement Centre to intervene and offer help.
