ChatFood, an omnichannel ordering and data-driven marketing platform based in the UAE, is now a WhatsApp Solution Provider. ChatFood will be able to provide a turnkey solution to restaurants, bars, sports venues, and fan zones ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
WhatsApp, a popular messaging app by Meta, is testing edit buttons for messages for android users. The edit button would allow users to correct any typos or errors on any messages that are already sent.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has launched a WhatsApp business account through which customers can contact the ministry and submit inquiries. Customers can reach the ministry at 600590000, and services will be available in English and Arabic. The new channel, verified by Meta, the owner of WhatsApp, allows employers, employees, domestic helpers, and other categories to contact MoHRE in real-time. With the launch of the new service, MoHRE has become the UAE’s first federal entity to have a verified WhatsApp business account.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will stop support for some old android and iOS versions to inculcate new features in the messaging platform.
The feature will send a in-app alert to the user if someone tries to log into their account. The alert will contain the time and the mobile model info from where the log in is happening.
