The U4-423 4-bay and U8-423 8-bay storage servers are both equipped with a Jasper Lake Intel Celeron quad-core processor and two 2.5GbE interfaces that support Link Aggregation, allowing for a network bandwidth of up to 5 Gbps.
The TerraMaster U4-423 and U8-423 offer up to 283 MB/s transmission speed, making them an ideal storage solution for businesses looking for high-performance storage at a low cost. The U4-423 and U8-423 also offer comprehensive backup solutions and flexible configurations, as well as support for a wide range of RAID types.
In comparison to our previous-generation rackmount servers, the U4-423 and U8-423 are powered by an Intel Celeron N5105/5095 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz and a maximum turbo speed of 2.9 GHz. Both are also equipped with 4GB of DDR4 memory, which can be upgraded to 32GB.
The TerraMaster U4-423 and U8-423 are equipped with two 2.5 GbE interfaces, with a maximum transmission speed of 283 MB/s (Seagate IronWolf 18TB x 4, RAID 0). Link Aggregation provides a combined bandwidth of 5Gbps, making it an affordable solution for multi-user and high-concurrent file access. In addition, the U4-423 and U8-423 have a dedicated M.2 slot for NVMe SSD to SSD caching to improve performance.
The U4-423 and U8-423 support a wide range of RAID configurations, including Single, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10. The U4-423 supports online capacity expansion and RAID array migration.
