TerraMaster releases data backup & sync functions for ransomware protection

Recently, a new type of ransomware known as Checkmate attacked a QNAP NAS device. Checkmate attacks accounts with weak passwords by using SMB services that are exposed to the internet and employs a dictionary attack.
