du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) announced a series of appointments to its executive leadership team with the goal of accelerating growth and supporting the telco’s aggressive Emiratization agenda.
The appointments are part of the telco’s efforts to facilitate the development of Emirati talent and build a team of qualified leaders in the telecommunications sector while mobilizing human capital to its full potential, with the goal of leading Emiratization in the industry.
Mohamed Al Qubaisi, Khaled Al Mazrouei, and Hasan Ali Hasan Bulhoon Alshemeili will be involved in the implementation of du’s strategy and management of its operations beginning immediately. The move is consistent with du’s strategic and coordinated approach to developing Emirati talent with long-term career opportunities – 40% of the telco’s workforce is Emirati, with 47% in leadership positions.

Mohamed Al Qubaisi, Head of NBI Products, Solutions, and Digital Services, has nearly 20 years of experience in the UAE telecom industry. Head of NBI Business Development Khaled Al Mazrouei has 20 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors. Finally, Hasan Bulhoon Alshemeili, Head of Technology Planning, has held several senior positions in the telecommunications industry over the past 25 years.
