Trend Micro will feature its cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions at the 41st GITEX Technology Week, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 17 to 21. The company will also exhibit a number of its innovations aimed at assisting businesses in defending their digital infrastructure in the face of changing threats.
“We’ve come a long way in safeguarding the operations of enterprises, and even further with the induced digital transformation over the past year,” said Dr.Moataz Bin Ali, Vice President, and Managing Director, MENA for Trend Micro.”
“GITEX 2021 gives us yet another opportunity to demonstrate our cybersecurity solutions to protect the new age enterprises across clouds, networks, devices, and endpoints – enabling them to take better control of their systems while thriving in the new digital economy.”
Trend Micro recently released its H1 2021 Midyear Security Roundup: Attacks from All Angles, highlighting the region’s evolving threat landscape and the necessity to maintain a strong cyber security posture. The GCC saw over 62 million (62,325,775) email threats, over 155K (155,516) URL-hosted attacks, with over 28 million (28,430,724) URL victims, over 7 million (7,293,662) malware detections, and additional 2133 banking malware detections, according to the roundup report. These data elicit a broader conversation about how businesses will need to change their security posture, which will be underlined during Trend Micro’s expert speaker sessions at GITEX 2021.
Trend Micro will not only be presenting security solutions at its booth, but it will also be hosting multiple seminars led by corporate experts that will address various cybersecurity concerns and the solutions required to overcome them.
This year during GITEX 2021, the Trend Micro booth will be located in Hall 2, Stand H2-E20.
Trend Micro will also be presenting at XLabs, where Bhavin Gandhi, Sr. Sales Engineer, will discuss the relevance of XDR and its influence on SOCs in Hall 1 Training Academy and the XLabs conference room. Additionally, Trend Micro will also be placing its pods at the booths of its distributors, which would include Starlink located at Hall 1, H1-C1, Mindware located at Hall 3, H3-D1, and Redington located at Hall 5, H5-A1.
