UAE President imparts guidance and optimism to youth

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged with a group of young individuals at Qasr Al Bahar in observance of International Youth Day. During this assembly, His Highness shared his visions and expectations for the forthcoming leaders of the nation.

In an interactive dialogue, His Highness lauded and discussed their proposals, underlining their perceptive understanding of the challenges and prospects facing the country. President Sheikh Mohamed affirmed the UAE’s commitment to sourcing innovative ideas from both its citizens and residents, expressing admiration for the youth’s role in enhancing the nation’s standing internationally.

The significance of upholding the UAE’s core values and adhering to its principles, customs, and traditions was emphasized by His Highness. He further stressed the importance of positive role models in shaping their character and steering them towards responsible adulthood. His Highness underscored the value of valuing family, demonstrating kindness and consideration towards parents, and fulfilling the duty of caring for them.

President Sheikh Mohamed attributed the UAE’s rapid progress to its clear vision, determination, strategic approach, and swift decision-making. He underscored the belief in the pivotal role the youth play in propelling the UAE’s advancement.

Amidst global uncertainties and challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, His Highness maintained that the UAE maintains a steadfast long-term vision, with its citizens and residents contributing zealously to its realization through innovation and unwavering resolve. President Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the UAE’s utilization of cutting-edge technology to address crises like the pandemic, especially in ensuring food and water security through desalination techniques and advanced agricultural practices.
