Varjo debuts in UAE – Lenovo will be first reseller

Varjo has made its debut in the UAE, with Lenovo operating as the company’s first reseller in the country. Varjo announced the start of sales and shipments of its VR-3 and XR-3 virtual reality and mixed reality devices to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its headsets are suitable for any immersive workflow and include the technologies required to create photorealistic, true-to-life VR/AR/XR experiences.

“We are pleased to scale our business in the Middle East and for the first time, make human-eye resolution virtual and mixed reality available for customers in the United Arab Emirates,” said Seppo Aaltonen, Chief Commercial Officer of Varjo.

Varjo’s first reseller in the United Arab Emirates will be Lenovo, the world’s biggest PC manufacturer. Lenovo and Varjo are advancing the way professionals work across industries, including aviation and space training and simulation, research, oil and gas, medical, and remote collaboration, by providing clients with a single point of purchase for high-performance workstations and VR/XR headsets.

Varjo’s latest services provide the cutting-edge technologies needed to scale XR/VR adoption across industries, as much of the globe continues to work remotely. Professional users may operate at their best in a fully immersive environment with over 60 ppd human-eye resolution, a 115° field of view, integrated eye and Ultraleap (previously Leap Motion) hand tracking, XR-3 inside-out tracking, and pixel-perfect mixed reality depth awareness.

Varjo headsets will be demonstrated on October 31 at the Finland Pavilion at World Expo 2020 in Dubai, as well as on October 17-21 at Lenovo’s exhibit A250 in Hall 6 at the GITEX conference.
