Veeam Unveils Data Protection Strategies at GITEX 2023

Veeam® Software, a leading provider of Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery solutions, has officially confirmed its participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2023, scheduled to take place from October 16th to 20th at the Dubai World Trade Centre. According to the Veeam 2023 Data Protection Trends Report for the Middle East and Africa, 86% of regional enterprises experienced at least one ransomware attack in 2022, and 79% of them identified a significant gap in data protection compared to their acceptable data loss levels.

Rizk stressed the importance of safeguarding and recovering data in a digital business landscape, emphasizing the need to modernize data protection strategies to encompass physical, virtual, and cloud-based workloads. He also emphasized the importance of flexibility in handling workloads that move across various cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
