OKX, the crypto exchange ecosystem, has launched the OKX Football Festival in anticipation of national football teams meeting in Qatar later this month. The NFT Football Cup, the 2022 OKX Football Cup Trading Competition, and the Earn Super Hatrick fan token staking series comprise the OKX Football Festival.

The NFT Football Cup, which offers a total of $1M in spot rewards, kicks off the OKX Football Festival. Fans will be able to mint up to three free NFTs corresponding to their favorite national teams beginning November 8. Each time their team advances through the group stages, NFT holders will split a 20,000 USDT spot reward, with the prize pools for each eliminated team being transferred to the team that knocks them out. For each NFT minted, OKX will add 10 USDT to the prize pool. Users will be able to take part in the event using any ETH wallet.
From mid-November, fans will also have the opportunity to test their crypto trading skills in the 2022 OKX Football Cup Trading Competition. Teams of at least ten traders will compete for a total prize pool of up to $2 million in this contest. There will also be new user rewards, quiz-based prizes, and referral rewards available.
The Earn Super Hatrick event, which begins on November 11, will offer a series of staking deals for the fan tokens of Manchester City ($CITY), Portugal ($POR), Argentina ($ARG), Flamengo ($MENGO), and Chiliz ($CHZ). Potential APYs on staked tokens could reach 300% for $CITY and 200% for $POR, $ARG, and $MENGO. OKX is the official cryptocurrency exchange partner for the Manchester City Football Club’s official fan token, $CITY.
OKX will also be offering the chance to win special Mystery Boxes themed for this winter’s big tournament beginning in mid-November. In addition to the reward tokens already available, Mystery Box holders will have the opportunity to win $CHZ, $ARG, $CITY, and $POR tokens.
