Samsung has created a computer mouse that can run away from you. Yes, you heard it right! The tech giant made a mouse that can run away from you.
But why create such a mouse and for what purpose?
The concept mouse was developed by the company to stop people from overworking and has been designed exclusively for that purpose.
Called the ‘Samsung Balance Mouse’, it skids off from the desk the moment it senses that the user is working a lot. The design of the mouse is such that it not only looks like a mouse but also acts like one.
The mouse is not for sale as of yet as it is a concept product made in partnership with an ad agency.
A glimpse of the concept mouse was seen on Samsung’s Korean YouTube channel. The video portrays how many people in Korea are reluctant to leave office the on time as they are under extreme duress to finish their pending work and sometimes are given extra work.
The main goal of the mouse according to the company is to create an even work-life balance and it shows its innovativeness when it detects people working overtime.
When the mouse detects that someone is working more than required, it will show its unique feature as wheels will come off it and run away. Now many will be wondering so what we can just grab it. Well, the video explains that too saying that it is not that easy to catch the mouse but that if someone does catch it then the mouse will remove core parts of itself and run away.
Samsung believes in an even work-life balance and created this product for that sole purpose it wants people to enjoy life after work.
