In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. has opened a new commercial office.
Zimmer Biomet’s innovative technology, surgical robotics, and implants have been selling well in hospitals and clinics in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey for several years (MENAT).
“This region has one of the most highly enabled digital populations. We are partnering with hospitals, clinics and health authorities to help them to benefit from Zimmer Biomet’s technology and data to improve efficiency and patient outcomes,” said Erik Antos, Vice President of Emerging Markets, Zimmer Biomet.
“We’re increasing our reach and investment across the region. This means we can partner with even more customers to meet the increasing expectations of patients for personal and connected digital experiences and deliver data-driven insights so they can also improve their efficiency,” Hamdan said.
Zimmer Biomet’s new office opened the same week as the business debuted its industry-leading innovations at the Dubai World Trade Centre‘s Arab Health 2022 exhibition.
Farah Hamdan, who joined Zimmer Biomet as General Manager for MENAT in January 2022, will lead the Dubai office. Farah has over 17 years of expertise in the healthcare industry and is in charge of collaborating with clients to improve the quality of care they deliver to patients.
The company’s dedication to helping clients retain momentum through a transitional period in healthcare, as well as to reducing pain and enhancing quality of life for people all around the world, is demonstrated by the inauguration of Zimmer Biomet’s Dubai office.
Zimmer Biomet’s MENAT region is a substantial customer base, with a notable increase in interest and use of its healthcare innovations over the last ten years.
