As part of its odyssey lineup, Samsung has released an all-new gaming monitor, calling it Odyssey Ark. The monitor has a curved screen and is marketed as the “first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen in the world.”

As reported earlier, The Odyssey Ark boasts a 55-inch 1000R-curved curved display. It also comes with a cockpit mode that enables the screen to tilt and revolve with the help of a Height Adjustable Stand.
Equipped with Quantum matrix Technology the mini LEDs are controlled for an enhanced visual experience along with the 4K display that supports a refresh rate of 165Hz. For 4K upscaling, there is the Neural Quantum Processor Ultra.
Additionally, it supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, Quantum HDR 2000, a 1ms (GTG) response time, and a 1,000,000: 1 contrast ratio. To protect users from glare and reflections, the monitor comes with the Samsung Matte display. It also has support for HDMI 2.1 and RJ45 ports.
The Odyssey Ark supports Dolby Atmos and has 4 speakers and 2 woofers. For a better surround sound experience, Sound Dome Tech with AI Sound Booster is also supported.
Being a gaming monitor, it comes pre-loaded with features like variable refresh rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and Samsung Gaming Hub to access streaming services and popular console and PC games. Support is provided for the solar-powered Ark Dial controller, the Flex Move Screen for adjusting screen size and aspect ratio, the Game Bar for accessing settings and game status information, and more.

The monitor will be available in UAE from September 1, 2022, and people can pre-order the monitor from the official Samsung website. The price of the monitor is around $3,499 which in dirham will be AED 11,999.00. according to the website if users apply for Samsung reward points they will be gifted 20x points worth about AED 2,399 for future purchases.
