Storming the gaming market, Sony has released a gaming accessory, a Mobile controller called ‘Backbone’, which will allow players to play PS4 and PS5 games on the go. The controller is compatible with iPhone and android but has very similar characteristics to that of a PS controller giving the player a sense of compatibility with the backbone.

The backbone is designed in line with the all-new PS5 Dualsense controller fitting right in with the console. The placement of the buttons is also similar to that of the original Dualsense PS5 controller making it easy for the player as they don’t have to remember which button is placed where. The thumbsticks in the backbone one have been made for longer game sessions.  The controller does not need to be charged and has the ability to charge the phone via a passthrough lighting port. It is also equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The controller connects directly to the phone allowing seamless gameplay with little to no lag depending on the internet connection of the player and its compact design which can be extended

With the backbone one and PS remote play, players can now play PlayStation exclusives like Horizon Forbidden West, God Of War, Death Stranding, Gran Turismo etc on their phones and even though the controller is designed in accordance with the PlayStation console the backbone one is compatible with Xbox remote play and Steam Link as well.
