Apple has revealed its latest marvel: the groundbreaking new iPad Pro. Boasting an astonishingly slim and lightweight design, this device elevates both portability and performance to unprecedented heights. Available in sleek silver and space black finishes, the new iPad Pro comes in two sizes: a generous 13-inch model and an ultra-portable 11-inch model.

At the heart of this innovation lies the world’s most advanced display — the revolutionary Ultra Retina XDR display, featuring cutting-edge tandem OLED technology that delivers an unparalleled visual experience. Powered by the groundbreaking M4 chip, the next evolution of Apple silicon, this iPad Pro offers a monumental leap in performance and capabilities.

The M4 chip introduces an entirely new display engine, ensuring the precision, vibrancy, and brightness of the Ultra Retina XDR display. With enhanced CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine capabilities, this iPad Pro stands as a powerhouse for artificial intelligence, delivering lightning-fast performance for AI-driven tasks.

Moreover, the versatility and functionality of the iPad Pro are further enhanced with a range of new accessories. The Apple Pencil Pro introduces powerful new interactions, while the sleeker and lighter Magic Keyboard offers a host of incredible features.

The new iPad Pro, Apple Pencil Pro, and Magic Keyboard are now available for order, with in-store availability commencing on May 15.

John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, remarked, “Today, we’re taking it even further with the new, stunningly thin and light iPad Pro, our biggest update ever to iPad Pro.”

The new iPad Pro sets a new standard for slimness, being the thinnest Apple product ever created. Despite its svelte form, it maintains robustness, with the 11-inch model measuring just 5.3 mm thin and the 13-inch model even thinner at 5.1 mm. Both models are as resilient as their predecessors, with the 11-inch model weighing less than a pound and the 13-inch model shedding nearly a quarter pound compared to its forerunner.

The centerpiece of the new iPad Pro is undoubtedly its Ultra Retina XDR display, which delivers an unmatched visual feast. Utilizing tandem OLED technology, it boasts an incredible full-screen brightness of 1000 nits for SDR and HDR content, with a peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR, setting a new standard for dynamic range. The display’s tandem OLED technology enables precise control over color and luminance, offering specular highlights that shine brighter and enhanced detail in shadows and low-light conditions.

The M4 chip is the driving force behind the extraordinary design and display of the new iPad Pro. Built on second-generation 3-nanometer technology, it offers unparalleled power efficiency, enabling the creation of the slim and lightweight form factor while delivering exceptional performance. With a new CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine, the M4 chip ensures up to 1.5x faster CPU performance compared to its predecessor, along with significant gains in GPU performance and industry-leading efficiency.

The Neural Engine in the M4 chip boasts an unprecedented 38 trillion operations per second, making it 60 times faster than its predecessor. Combined with advanced ML accelerators and developer frameworks in iPadOS, the new iPad Pro is a formidable powerhouse for AI tasks, enabling users to perform AI-enabled functions with lightning speed.

The new iPad Pro also features an updated camera system, studio-quality microphones, and enhanced connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6E support. Additionally, the device introduces the all-new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, offering users even more ways to unleash their creativity and productivity.

With its groundbreaking features, stunning design, and commitment to sustainability, the new iPad Pro reaffirms Apple’s position at the forefront of innovation while setting a new benchmark for performance, portability, and environmental responsibility.
