Barracuda Networks, Inc., a prominent provider of cloud-first security solutions, is intensifying its commitment to partner and distributor profitability with significant enhancements to the Barracuda Partner Success Program. The global initiative aims to boost partner margins, profitability, and technical capabilities.

Key elements of the investment include:

– Global refinement of partner compensation models, introducing new discounts and rebates for top-tier partners.

– Empowering partners with expanded internal offerings, creating more revenue-generating opportunities.

– Revamping distribution with redesigned compensation models to support long-term business growth for partners, facilitating customer acquisition and business security.

– Strengthening partner sales and technical enablement with four new technical certification courses and enhanced resources for partners. This includes streamlining access to the Barracuda Email Threat Scanner and providing detailed reporting on customer scans.

Jason Beal, Vice President, Worldwide Partner Ecosystems at Barracuda, emphasized the company’s commitment to understanding partners’ unique perspectives through “partner empathy.” Within three months of launching the global Partner Success program, key enhancements have been introduced to maximize partner success and profitability.

In addition to these enhancements, Barracuda introduces a Premier-level rebate for top-tier partners, structured around the LAER model: land, adoption, expansion, retention, and renewal. This rebate program aligns with customer success, encouraging partners to excel in landing new customers, ensuring full adoption of product functionality, expanding offerings, and retaining customers through effective renewals support.

According to Beal, the new rebate program is a significant milestone, recognizing top-performing partners globally, and it emerged from discussions with the Partner Advisory Board.

Launched in December 2023, the Barracuda Partner Success Program focuses on partner success globally, featuring a shared success model and partner agility. It supports reseller partners across various routes to market, tailoring benefits and resources based on their sales contributions. Barracuda’s recent investments have led to a 14% growth in annual recurring revenues (ARR) for SaaS solutions and an expanding number of hybrid partners.
