The Acer USB Type-C Dock D501, a new gadget that streamlines the process of attaching multiple screens or peripherals to a Chromebook, has been added to Acer Middle East’s line of Works With Chromebook-certified accessories. The dock has been extensively tested and certified to satisfy Chromebook compatibility requirements, assuring customers that it will function flawlessly with their Chrome OS devices.
Laptop computers provide ease and portability, especially as organizations continue to embrace the remote working model. However, some jobs require greater screen real estate, and using a mouse rather than a trackpad is sometimes more comfortable. Working professionals can customize their system with peripherals such as an external monitor (or two), a keyboard and mouse, a USB stick or external hard drive for data backup, and more. A docking station connects all of these devices with a single USB Type-C cable, which keeps workspaces neat and reduces the number of steps needed to get up and running Monday morning.
The Acer USB Type-C Dock D501 (ADK020) makes it easy to connect a Chrome OS computer to up to three additional monitors through DisplayPort and HDMI connections, making it an excellent solution for customers who need more screen real estate than a single device can provide. Six USB ports (4x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A) provide the freedom to attach any additional peripherals required for a particular task. It also has a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port for wired networking and supports USB-C Power Delivery for charging devices via a USB-C connection.

The new D501 Chromebook dock joins Acer’s existing Works With Chromebook-certified accessory lineup, which includes:
• The Acer Wireless Mouse M501 (AMR800) and Acer Wireless Mouse M502 (AMR020) provide sensitivity levels of 1,600 DPI and 1,200 DPI, respectively, for dependable and responsive navigation around the screen. Both right and left-handed users will find the curvature of the mice to be comfortable.
• The Acer USB-C to USB-C Cable (ACB910) links USB-C devices and peripherals, allowing users to charge their devices while concurrently transferring data at up to 10 Gbps—and to use USB-C screens, hard drives, and other peripherals without lugging about a bunch of cables.
