Dell’s Inspiron G15 and G16 gaming laptops are now available in South Africa through Drive Control Corporation (DCC), the official Dell EMC distributor. These cutting-edge gaming laptops are designed to empower gamers for an exceptional gaming experience.

The key difference between the two models lies in their screen sizes: the G15 features a 15.6-inch (16:9) display, while the G16 boasts a larger 16-inch (16:10) screen. Gamers seeking top-notch visuals will appreciate the G16’s QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) resolution, DCI-P3 Anti-Glare LED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, 300 nits’ brightness, and 3m/s response time.
Both laptops come equipped with NVIDIA’s powerful GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU on the G15 and the GeForce RTX 4070 on the best G16 model. Paired with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors, ranging from i7 to i9 24-core processors, these laptops offer a next-level gaming experience.
To ensure optimal performance during extended gaming sessions, Dell has improved heat dissipation with increased airflow, four copper heat pipes, and ultra-thin blade fans on both the G15 and G16 models.
Memory options for the laptops include 2x8GB to 2x16GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and SSD storage ranging from 512GB to 1TB.
The Alienware Command Centre 6 (AWCC 6.0) comes onboard, providing enhanced stability and the ability to unlock system performance and overclock the CPU, GPU, and thermals. Users can activate Game Shift technology to maximize fan speed for better cooling while the processor handles intensive tasks. AWCC 6.0 also allows customization of RGB lighting options for the keyboard and other Alienware peripherals.
For gamers in South Africa dealing with load-shedding, the laptops are equipped with a 56 WHr 3-Cell battery or an 86 WHr 6-Cell battery, enabling uninterrupted gaming even during power outages.
