Dubai-Based Mindware joins Global Technology Distribution Council

Mindware, a prominent IT distributor serving vendors and partners across the Middle East and Africa, has become a new member of the Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC), the world’s largest consortium of technology distributors. In an official announcement, it was revealed that Philippe Jarre, CEO of Mindware, will also be joining the GTDC Board of Directors.

The addition of Mindware to the GTDC reinforces the council’s ongoing global expansion strategy and enhances its presence in the Persian Gulf region. In this region, integrated technology solutions are playing a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives. Mindware, established in 1991 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, boasts an impressive track record, including:

– Over 5,000 channel partners

– Representing more than 60 leading vendors

– Handling over 35,000 transactions annually

– Operating across 13 legal entities in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region

– Utilizing 90,000 square feet of warehouse space spread across 12 warehouses

GTDC CEO, Frank Vitagliano, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting Mindware’s commitment to innovation in the Gulf region. He also praised the wide range of solutions and services offered by the company, including cybersecurity, cloud migration and modernization, infrastructure management, data and analytics, among others. These solutions are poised to empower partners as the global business economy evolves.

Mindware’s achievements have been recognized recently, with Dell naming them the Distributor of the Year in the Gulf region for their outstanding performance in 2022. The company also earned the status of Veritas Authorized Training Center, providing further opportunities for education and enablement for their channel partners.

Philippe Jarre, CEO of Mindware, emphasized the importance of seamless technology adoption and integration capabilities for current business transformation initiatives.
