ManageEngine, a division of Zoho Corporation, announced the addition of digital employee experience (DEX) capabilities to its unified endpoint management and security platform, Endpoint Central. The move aims to help IT teams deliver a better employee experience while managing and securing endpoints.

The enhancement supports autonomous endpoint management and addresses the growing need for efficient workplace technology. Through this launch, ManageEngine intends to help organizations meet modern workplace requirements without adding complexity.

Employee productivity now relies heavily on device and application performance. According to the 2024 Gartner® Digital Worker Survey, nearly 90% of respondents agreed that digital technology provided by their organizations enabled them to complete work efficiently. Yet, slow boot times, application crashes, and delayed logins often remain undetected until they disrupt operations.

“Hybrid work has made digital experience a defining factor in employee productivity and retention,” said Chirag Mehta, vice president and principal analyst at Constellation Research. “Buyers are seeking integrated visibility and automation that allow IT teams to transition from reactive support to proactive engagement.”

The new DEX capabilities expand Endpoint Central’s device telemetry and remediation features. They transform raw performance data into actionable insights, enabling IT teams to monitor, diagnose, and remediate issues from a single platform.

Key highlights include:

  • Continuous experience monitoring for CPU spikes, memory usage, disk issues, and more.
  • Root cause analysis and insights correlating poor performance with hardware or resource-heavy applications.
  • Prioritized alerts and automated remediation workflows, including experience scoring and benchmarking.

Future releases will focus on predictive analytics, self-healing automation, and AI-driven telemetry across workflows. ManageEngine plans to strengthen proactive controls, expand ecosystem integrations, and adapt to evolving workplace needs.

“Our North Star is autonomous endpoint management through a unified platform,” said Mathivanan Venkatachalam, vice president of ManageEngine. “DEX management is a core pillar that brings us closer to this vision.”
