Huawei Cloud, in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy, has concluded a five-day executive training programme. The initiative aimed to equip government and industry leaders with essential knowledge in cloud technologies.

Held from 24 to 28 August, the Huawei Cloud Technology Essentials Executive Program introduced senior decision-makers to the fundamentals of cloud computing. It highlighted the role of cloud in enabling innovation and strategic growth.

The training covered compute, storage, networking, security, and database services. Participants also learned about cloud-native transformation through practical workshops and case studies.

The programme builds on a MoU signed in February 2025 between Huawei and Tuwaiq Academy. The agreement focuses on cultivating local expertise in cloud computing, AI, and big data.

The initiative aligns with Huawei’s broader talent development efforts in Saudi Arabia. These include the Huawei Skills Development Center, aiming to train 25,000 local talents by 2030, and the T.H.E.
