BeyondTrust, identity security, has announced new AI security controls in its Identity Security Insights platform. The update offers enhanced visibility into AI agents, secure orchestration of their actions, and an integrated intelligence layer to support faster security decisions.

Marc Maiffret, Chief Technology Officer at BeyondTrust, reported that the rise of AI agents has created a critical identity security challenge. He said agentic AI is part of the broader non-human identity landscape and requires holistic protection. Many AI agents, often built on low-code and no-code platforms, can be deployed within minutes with privileges that match human administrators.

BeyondTrust revealed that it continues to advance Identity Security Insights with regular innovations. In August 2025, the company introduced Secrets Insights, a feature to uncover and remediate risks tied to secrets and nonhuman identities. The new release extends this progress with AI agent governance, giving customers unified visibility and control to adopt AI securely.

The company announced three key enhancements:

  • AI Agent Insights: Helps discover, classify, and risk-score AI agents across cloud and SaaS platforms. It exposes shadow AI and applies Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP) and Just-In-Time (JIT) access controls.
  • MCP Orchestration: Provides a secure bridge for brokering agent actions, enabling privilege-safe workflows like JIT API requests and credential rotations.
  • AI Decision-Support Layer: Adds a ChatGPT-like assistant that delivers real-time insights and remediation steps within the Pathfinder Platform.

BeyondTrust reported that these advancements will allow customers to:
● Move faster with AI while maintaining security through full visibility into all identities.
● Increase productivity using automated remediation and real-time insights.
● Simplify security with a single platform for governance and enforcement.

The company confirmed that these updates extend its Paths to Privilege and True Privilege capabilities to human, machine, secrets, and AI identities, strengthening governance across the identity attack surface.
