The UAE Cybersecurity Council has announced the launch of the second cohort of the CyberE71 Incubator Programme. The initiative aims to foster entrepreneurship and innovation within the nation’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

The announcement follows the success of the first edition, unveiled at GISEC Global 2024. The programme nurtures innovative ideas from Emirati students and entrepreneurs while supporting startups that play a crucial role in combating evolving cyber threats.

Officials revealed that more than 200 startups from across the Emirates have applied to join the second cohort. The programme begins with five intensive bootcamps and seven days of specialised workshops designed to refine solutions, scale effectively, and drive market impact.

Participants had the opportunity to showcase their innovations at GITEX Global 2025, building on the programme’s previous presence at major UAE exhibitions.

The initiative reinforces the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities and supporting national startups. It also aims to bolster the country’s leadership in the global cyber domain.

CyberE71 provides a national platform to develop the next generation of Emirati leaders in cybersecurity. It aligns with the UAE leadership’s vision to empower youth, support startups, and encourage participation in national development.

Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, highlighted that the success of CyberE71 demonstrates the UAE’s position as a global cybersecurity hub. He added that the programme fosters innovation and provides an environment where creators can develop solutions that enhance digital safety and support the digital economy.

He further stressed the importance of youth involvement and capacity-building to address the growing cyber threats facing both the economy and national security.

The UAE Cybersecurity Council, in collaboration with national institutions, continues to promote cybersecurity awareness and strengthen the country’s cyber resilience.
