The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA Dubai) has announced that it will co-organise the 11th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) alongside DP World, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Emaar Properties, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).

RTA revealed that the theme for the 2026 edition will be “Bridging Communities.” The event will take place from 14 to 15 January 2026 at Madinat Jumeirah. Registration is now open through the official website, www.dipmf.ae.

The forum will include discussions across five main themes and sixteen sub-themes. It will focus on innovation, sustainability, and the role of technology in advancing project management.

The five key pillars will include:
Sustainable City: Communities of the Future and Driving Sustainable Growth
Digital Transformation: Leadership, Strategy, Agile Management, Digital Twins, Metaverse, and Blockchain
Jobs of the Future: Efficiency, Remote Project Management, and Circular Economy
Technology & Future Trends: Artificial Intelligence, Smart Mobility, and Big Data
Customer Centricity: Customer Engagement, Empowered Teams, and Agile Hybrid Project Management

Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, reported that the forum has become one of the leading global events on the international conference calendar. He said it serves as a key platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise and for promoting sustainable development.

He added that collaborating with major partners such as DP World, DEWA, Emaar, and PMI reflects confidence in the forum’s global standing. The event aims to advance strategic cooperation and highlight Dubai’s leadership in innovation and future readiness.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, stated that hosting the forum for the 11th year aligns with Dubai’s vision of being a global hub for managing mega projects that drive sustainable growth. He noted that the initiative supports Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the UAE Net Zero by 2050 goals.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, highlighted that DIPMF has become a key platform for shaping the future of project execution and innovation. He reaffirmed DP World’s commitment to sharing expertise in global trade, logistics, and smart solutions.

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Board Member at Emaar Properties, said the forum reinforces Dubai’s status as a global hub for innovation and excellence. He emphasized its importance in exchanging expertise and best practices in managing mega projects.

Pierre Le Manh, President and CEO of the Project Management Institute, remarked that the forum brings together global experts to exchange ideas that shape the future of project management. He noted that the 2026 edition’s focus on sustainable communities highlights how project professionals can enhance quality of life and drive transformation.

Since its inception in 2014, DIPMF has attracted nearly 20,000 participants and over 400 global experts. The event continues to serve as a global platform for sharing best practices, creative solutions, and innovative approaches to project management.
