Qlik®, a global data integration, analytics, and AI, announced the general availability of Multivariate Time Series (MVTS) in Qlik Predict™, bringing GPU-accelerated, explainable forecasting to Qlik Cloud.

First showcased at Qlik Connect® in May 2025, the capability helps organizations model multiple real-world drivers and act on insights instantly. Alongside MVTS, Qlik revealed that its WriteTable feature is expected to be generally available in December 2025. WriteTable enables teams to update operational tables and trigger downstream actions without leaving Qlik.

Planning teams often manage variables like prices, promotions, weather, and supply constraints, which move together rather than in isolation. Qlik Predict allows teams to model these relationships, revealing why performance shifts and what actions to take. Paired with WriteTable, analysts can translate AI-driven forecasts into operational changes directly in the same workflow.

  • MVTS models multiple interdependent drivers over time for resilient forecasts.
  • Explainable AI shows clear driver contributions for faster stakeholder buy-in.
  • No-code and governed, Qlik Predict lets teams move quickly while IT maintains control.

Teams will first use the tool in inventory and supply planning, workforce planning, pricing, promotions, and service operations. Customers can reduce forecast misses, accelerate decision-making, and maintain tighter control of cash flow.

Brendan Grady, Executive Vice President at Qlik, said, “Multivariate Time Series in Qlik Predict lets teams model how real-world factors interact and explain results in plain business terms.”

Alexander Engel, Head of Business Intelligence at SLA Software Logistik Artland, added, “With WriteTable, insights become governed changes to orders, staffing, and pricing. This reduces execution risk and accelerates operations.”

Built on Qlik’s Data and Analytics Platform, the solution combines real-time data integration, quality, and lineage with AI-powered predictive analytics. It ensures models and writebacks are deployed securely and transparently at enterprise scale.
