Veeam Software announced the launch of the Veeam App for ServiceNow, revealing new automation features that integrate Veeam Data Platform’s data protection capabilities directly into ServiceNow workflows. The company reported that the solution is now available in the ServiceNow Store.

The Veeam App for ServiceNow offers bi-directional, policy-driven backup and recovery orchestration natively within the ServiceNow AI Platform. It provides full auditability, real-time status synchronization, and compliance reporting. The app is designed to create a seamless and secure connection between Veeam infrastructure and IT Service Management workflows, allowing ServiceNow users to monitor, orchestrate, and automate Veeam-powered data protection tasks without leaving the platform.

John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer at Veeam, said that business operations increasingly depend on data. He explained that data protection is essential to ensuring uninterrupted operations. He added that unifying Veeam’s backup and resilience features with ServiceNow’s automation helps organizations simplify operations, accelerate recovery, and remain prepared for audits as regulatory demands increase.

The company revealed that the app is built for organizations operating in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. It also supports enterprises aiming to expand automation, improve auditing, and strengthen security through centralized policies.

Veeam stated that the app helps organizations decentralize backup management, enhance visibility, and accelerate incident response while maintaining enterprise-grade security and control. The company confirmed that the Veeam App for ServiceNow is available at no cost for Veeam Data Platform Advanced and Premium edition customers.
