Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) announced the launch of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Adobe Acrobat for ChatGPT. The company revealed that its popular creative and productivity apps are now accessible to the platform’s 800 million users.

Adobe reported that the apps bring agentic AI capabilities to ChatGPT. This allows users to enhance photos, design invitations, and create professional documents simply by describing what they want.

The launch builds on Adobe’s ongoing work in conversational AI. Earlier this year, Adobe introduced Acrobat Studio. It transforms static PDFs into interactive, AI-powered workspaces. Users can ask questions, get insights, and create standout content easily. Adobe also revealed AI Assistants for Photoshop and Adobe Express at Adobe MAX. The company previewed an AI Assistant for Adobe Firefly, which will allow creators to work across multiple apps seamlessly.

Adobe apps for ChatGPT aim to reach new users who may not be familiar with the company’s software. Users can edit images, design content, and manage documents without leaving the chat. For example, typing “Adobe Photoshop, help me blur the background of this image” guides ChatGPT to open the app and perform the edit.

Photoshop for ChatGPT lets users adjust image brightness, contrast, and exposure. It also supports creative effects like Glitch and Glow while preserving image quality. Adobe Express provides templates for any occasion. Users can replace images, edit text, animate designs, and iterate on edits. Acrobat allows PDF editing, text and table extraction, file merging, compression, and conversion. Sensitive details can also be redacted easily.

Adobe reported that moving from ChatGPT to native apps is seamless. Users can pick up work in Adobe’s desktop apps with full control and precision.

The apps are free for ChatGPT users globally. They are available on desktop, web, and iOS. Adobe Express is also available on Android, while Photoshop and Acrobat support on Android is coming soon.
