Infoblox announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Axur, a global provider of AI-powered security solutions. The planned acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

The move will expand Infoblox’s preemptive security capabilities. It aims to address brand abuse, fraud, data and credential theft, and other external digital threats. As threat actors increasingly use AI for phishing and impersonation campaigns, organizations require faster detection and disruption.

Scott Harrell, president and CEO of Infoblox, said the acquisition helps security teams move beyond traditional network perimeters. “Axur extends our security offering by enabling customers to detect and stop threats earlier with AI-powered detection and takedowns,” he reported.

Axur automates threat discovery, validation, takedown, and monitoring. It notifies phishing detections in under four minutes and achieves nearly 99% takedown success. Combined with Infoblox’s capabilities, organizations can block malicious communications at the DNS layer while takedowns occur, reducing attack uptime from days to hours.

  • Infoblox and Axur will help organizations detect external threats earlier and disrupt malicious infrastructure faster.
  • AI-driven workflows will automatically remove phishing sites, fraudulent domains, and impersonation campaigns, reducing operational effort for security teams.

Fabio Ramos, CEO of Axur, said joining Infoblox allows the company to scale globally and enhance external threat disruption. Infoblox and Axur will operate independently until the transaction closes, expected in Spring 2026.

Legal counsels for Infoblox are Hogan Lovells and Levy & Salomão Advogados. Axur is represented by Bronstein, Zilberberg, Chueiri & Potenza Advogados and Cooley, with Stifel as financial advisor.
