BeyondTrust has announced the strategic expansion of the BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform to the United Arab Emirates, India, Singapore, and South Africa.

The move comes as organizations in these regions face growing cybersecurity challenges. These challenges are driven by the rapid rise of machine identities, the adoption of agentic AI, and stricter compliance requirements.

As digital transformation accelerates, the balance between human and non-human identities is shifting. Machine identities are now outnumbering human users in many enterprises. At the same time, autonomous AI systems are creating new security risks. These systems can operate independently, often without direct human oversight.

As a result, organizations are facing increased exposure to what experts describe as “shadow” risks. These risks emerge when identities and access points remain unmanaged or invisible.

In response, the BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform delivers a unified, privilege-centric identity security experience. It is designed to secure human and non-human identities across hybrid, cloud, SaaS, and operational technology environments.

According to Janine Seebeck, CEO of BeyondTrust, the lack of visibility and control over machine identities has become a major compliance concern. She noted that in fast-growing markets such as the UAE, India, Singapore, and South Africa, this gap now represents a critical regulatory risk.

Meanwhile, the expansion also helps organizations meet evolving regional compliance requirements.

In the United Arab Emirates, the platform supports alignment with the National Electronic Security Authority Information Assurance Standards. These standards apply especially to critical infrastructure and supply chain security.

In India, the platform supports compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and CERT-In reporting requirements. Its automated discovery and AI-driven risk prioritization help organizations maintain regulatory readiness.

In Singapore, the platform assists owners of Critical Information Infrastructure in complying with the Cybersecurity Code of Practice under the Cybersecurity Act. This ensures that privileged access to essential services is closely monitored.

In South Africa, the platform supports compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act. It helps organizations protect the integrity and confidentiality of personal data processed by machine identities.

Furthermore, the BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform connects core Privileged Access Management capabilities with emerging identity security use cases. It offers a unified system for managing human and non-human identities.

Its key features include large-scale discovery of agents, secrets, and non-human identities across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. This helps eliminate unauthorized or hidden access.

In addition, the platform enables autonomous defense. It prioritizes risks and delivers actionable intelligence to help security teams focus on critical paths to privilege.

It also provides specialized monitoring for agentic AI. This ensures autonomous systems operate within defined security boundaries without disrupting innovation.

Through this unified approach, BeyondTrust aims to help organizations strengthen visibility, intelligence, and control across all digital environments.

To support this initiative, the company has expanded its free Identity Security Risk Assessment. The assessment now provides immediate visibility into agentic AI-related risks and identity vulnerabilities.

By expanding the BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform into these key markets, the company is enabling organizations to adopt AI and automation more confidently. At the same time, it helps them maintain strong security and regulatory compliance through the BeyondTrust Pathfinder Platform.
