Veeam Software has announced three senior leadership appointments to drive growth and innovation worldwide. Brandt Urban has been promoted to Chief Business Development Officer, Tony Colon joins as Chief Customer Officer, and Michael Rau is named Vice President of Worldwide Partners.

CEO Anand Eswaran said the company is entering a new era for data that combines resilience, security, and the ability to unlock value for AI. He added that the new leadership team will help sustain growth and accelerate Veeam’s momentum globally.

Brandt Urban, reporting directly to the CEO, will lead corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy. Previously Senior Vice President of Worldwide Cloud Sales, Brandt played a key role in driving cloud growth at Veeam and has held senior positions at Microsoft, Genesys, RingCentral, and HPE.

Tony Colon, reporting to Chief Revenue Officer John Jester, will oversee the full customer journey, from onboarding to renewal. He brings over 20 years of experience at ServiceNow, Cisco, and Salesforce, focusing on customer success, retention, and growth.

Michael Rau, also reporting to Jester, will lead Veeam’s global partner business. He will manage distribution, resale, SaaS, services, and strategic alliances, overseeing partnerships with HPE, Lenovo, Pure Storage, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, TCS, and Kyndryl. Michael has nearly a decade of experience at F5 and senior roles at Cisco.

Jester said the appointments demonstrate Veeam’s focus on innovation and industry impact.
