Ai Everything Middle East & Africa (MEA) Egypt was announced as a major technology event supporting Egypt’s digital transformation agenda. The inaugural edition of Ai Everything will be held under the auspices of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in the country’s economic roadmap.

The event will take place from 11–12 February 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo. It was revealed as the first all-AI expo and summit to open the global technology calendar for the year. As a result, Cairo is expected to host discussions shaping responsible AI innovation, investment, and digital governance.

Ai Everything MEA Egypt is presented by GITEX and hosted by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). Moreover, the initiative reflects Egypt’s intention to strengthen collaboration across Africa, the Middle East, and international technology ecosystems, while supporting the transition toward an intelligence-driven economy.

Presidential patronage reportedly underscores the strategic importance of artificial intelligence in national priorities. AI was positioned as a driver for economic growth, industrial competitiveness, and human capital development. During his participation at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s commitment to expanding investment across AI and ICT sectors. He also emphasized the need to equip future generations with skills aligned with emerging industries.

More than 350 AI enterprises and startups from over 30 countries are expected to participate. They will showcase innovations and applications across sectors such as public services, smart cities, cybersecurity, fintech, digital payments, future mobility, and business transformation. In addition, several international organisations are reported to be entering the Egyptian market for the first time through the event, indicating increased interest in AI-driven investment and expansion.

The summit is set to convene over 10 local and international ministers. It will also bring together governing bodies and global institutions, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the UAE Cybersecurity Council. Discussions will focus on responsible AI practices, national AI infrastructure, governance frameworks, and policy and investment models for sustainable AI development.

Ai Everything Middle East & Africa Egypt 2026 was also confirmed as being presented by GITEX GLOBAL. The event will be hosted in Cairo under the auspices of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and in strategic partnership with MCIT and ITIDA. It was reported that the summit aligns with Egypt’s National AI Strategy 2025–2030, focusing on AI research, live use cases, and outcome-driven applications across public and private sectors.
