LG Electronics (LG) announced plans to accelerate growth in emerging markets through its LG AI strategy at InnoFest 2026 MEA. The event was held in Abu Dhabi. It focused on the Middle East and Africa, with additional attention on Latin America and Asia. The company revealed its regional strategy and market outlook to partners and media.

More than 250 B2C and B2B partners and media representatives from across the MEA region attended the event. LG reported that InnoFest 2026 MEA served as a platform to share its technology roadmap and reinforce its focus on premium products supported by AI-driven innovation.

At the exhibition, LG showcased a range of LG AI-enabled home products designed to improve everyday living. These included washing machines that optimize cycles based on load weight, fabric type and soiling levels. Refrigerators were displayed that adjust temperatures according to usage patterns. In addition, air conditioners were presented that automatically respond to real-time room conditions.

LG also introduced its premium TV lineup at the event. This included the ultra-thin Wallpaper OLED TV with True Wireless technology. The company stated that its AI-powered TVs enhance picture quality and sound. They also offer personalized content through the continuously updated webOS platform.

According to LG, these developments support its vision of a connected smart home ecosystem. The company highlighted its long-term goal of achieving the “Zero Labor Home,” where AI technology reduces the need for manual household tasks.

LG further announced plans to expand its MEA product portfolio. This includes additional mid- and entry-level products to reach a broader consumer base. New offerings will be tailored to local preferences, such as top freezer refrigerators, chest freezers and twin-tube washing machines. LG also confirmed the expansion of its built-in kitchen appliance lineup to address varying housing and lifestyle needs across the region.

In response to rising competition, LG emphasized its focus on strengthening sales and service capabilities using market-specific insights. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to localized service improvements through its “Our Promise” initiative, which adapts service programs to individual market expectations.

“LG InnoFest 2026 MEA provided an opportunity to share how we are approaching innovation and growth in this region,” said Phil Jung, region representative of LG Electronics’ Middle East and Africa region. He added that combining AI technologies with local insights is intended to deliver practical and relevant solutions for consumers across MEA.

Through continued investment in product development, partnerships and service infrastructure, LG plans to strengthen its presence across MEA while expanding its AI-focused product ecosystem.
