e& UAE has announced the successful deployment of 5G-Advanced connectivity at Ciel Dubai Marina, the world’s tallest hotel, marking a new milestone in the UAE’s digital infrastructure journey.

The deployment delivers ultra-fast, low-latency indoor connectivity across the landmark property in Dubai Marina. As a result, it further strengthens the UAE’s position at the forefront of global 5.5G innovation while reinforcing e& UAE’s commitment to providing world-class digital infrastructure for iconic destinations.

According to e& UAE, the new network upgrade is designed to meet the growing demand for seamless digital experiences in premium hospitality environments. It supports a wide range of applications, including high-speed browsing, video calling, content streaming, connected guest services, smart building solutions, and operational communications in high-density, high-footfall locations.

Commenting on the achievement, Abdul Rahman Al Humaidan, Senior Vice President of Access Network Development at e& UAE, said: “This latest achievement demonstrates our dedication to providing landmark destinations with world-class 5.5G infrastructure. This deployment supports richer guest experiences and more efficient connected operations, while reinforcing the UAE’s position as a leading hub for next-generation digital infrastructure.”

Meanwhile, the deployment was carried out in collaboration with Ericsson. Together, the companies engineered and implemented an advanced indoor network solution based on Ericsson’s Radio Dot System (RDS).

The solution leverages Ericsson’s high-performance indoor 5.5G platform, which is designed to deliver seamless and high-capacity coverage while maintaining minimal visual impact. Therefore, it is particularly suited to premium hospitality environments where connectivity performance and aesthetics are equally important.

Through the combination of advanced connectivity and practical use cases across hospitality, enterprise environments, and smart communities, 5G-Advanced connectivity continues to play a key role in supporting the UAE’s digital transformation ambitions and leadership in next-generation network innovation.
