Acer AI laptops have expanded with the launch of the new Acer Swift Air 14 and Acer Swift Spin 14 AI. The Windows 11 devices feature dedicated neural processing units (NPUs), enabling on-device AI capabilities, improved productivity, and exclusive AI experiences. The announcement was made on July 9, 2026.

The latest additions target users looking for thin and lightweight laptops with AI-powered performance. While the Swift Air 14 focuses on portability and everyday computing, the Swift Spin 14 AI introduces a convertible design for productivity and creative workflows.

James Lin, General Manager, Notebooks, Acer Inc., said the company is expanding its Swift lineup with a high-performance convertible model and the new Swift Air 14 powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors. He added that the laptop combines strong performance, AI capabilities, and a refined design to make advanced computing more accessible.

Josh Newman, General Manager and Vice President of Consumer PC, Client Computing Group at Intel, said the new Intel Core Series 3 processors deliver balanced performance, long battery life, and AI-ready capabilities. He added that the Acer Swift Air 14 demonstrates how close collaboration between Intel and Acer brings powerful and affordable computing experiences to students, families, and small businesses.

The Acer Swift Air 14 (SFA14-I31) is designed for users who frequently work, study, or travel. It is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors and delivers up to 40 platform TOPS, including up to 17 TOPS from its dedicated NPU. The laptop also offers up to 19 hours of battery life, while fast charging restores up to 50 percent battery capacity in approximately 30 minutes.

The laptop weighs only 1.25 kg and measures as thin as 12.9 mm. It comes with an all-aluminum chassis and is available in Sage Green, Frost Blue, Blossom Pink, and Lilac Purple. Its 180-degree hinge allows the display to lie flat, making collaboration easier.

The Swift Air 14 features a 14-inch WUXGA display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100 percent sRGB color accuracy. Quad speakers with DTS X:Ultra deliver immersive 3D spatial audio.

For video conferencing and security, the laptop includes a 1080p infrared camera with Windows Hello facial recognition and a physical privacy shutter. Acer’s PurifiedVoice technology uses AI-powered noise cancellation, while PurifiedView enhances video quality during online meetings.

Connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, and a USB Type-A port.

Meanwhile, the Acer Swift Spin 14 AI (SFSP14-I51T) is designed for users seeking premium AI performance in a convertible form factor. It supports up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 386H and delivers up to 50 TOPS through its dedicated NPU and up to 100 platform TOPS.

The laptop is built to handle AI applications, multitasking, content creation, video calls, streaming, and light gaming with minimal lag. It also provides up to 26 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Its 360-degree hinge enables four usage modes, including laptop, presentation, display, and tablet. The platinum silver aluminum chassis meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards for improved protection.

The device features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS glass touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also supports the optional Acer Active Stylus with Wacom AES 2.0 technology, offering shading support and 4,096 pressure levels for creators, professionals, and entrepreneurs.

The Swift Spin 14 AI includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, dual USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and support for up to 100 W fast charging.

Security features include a 5 MP infrared camera with a human presence detector, a fingerprint reader, Windows Hello support, a physical camera shutter, and Acer User Sensing technology, which detects user presence and helps prevent unauthorized access. AI-powered PurifiedVoice and PurifiedView further improve communication during video meetings.

Both Acer AI laptops include a dedicated Copilot button for quick access to Microsoft’s AI assistant. The Swift Spin 14 AI is also a Windows 11 Copilot+ PC, enabling additional AI experiences.

In addition, both devices feature Acer’s AI software suite, including AcerSense and Acer Intelligence Space. These applications integrate features developed with Intel, such as Acer QR Capture, Acer AI Image Generator, and Acer Video Speed Controller, helping users improve productivity, creativity, and everyday workflows. With these additions, Acer AI laptops further expand the company’s portfolio of AI-enabled Windows 11 PCs for consumers and professionals alike.
