e&, in collaboration with the Federal Youth Authority (FYA), marked World Youth Skills Day 2026 through a dedicated youth activation as part of Summer Camp 2026. The initiative aimed to help young people build future-ready skills, exchange knowledge, and connect with leaders and peers.

Aligned with this year’s global theme, “Skills for a Shared Future,” the activation reflects e&’s continued commitment to youth development, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement. It also included a recently concluded physical workshop and an upcoming virtual session. As a result, the programme provides accessible opportunities for young people to learn, participate, and collaborate.

Moreover, the activation supports the objectives of the UAE’s National Youth Agenda 2031. It equips young people with practical capabilities and creates platforms that enable meaningful participation in the country’s digital and knowledge-based economy.

The physical session took place at e&’s Alkifaf Innovation Centre as an Emerging Leaders Workshop. It brought together a selected group of youth participants for an interactive learning experience. The programme featured an inspirational leadership talk, a youth leadership coaching workshop, and a guided tour of the AI retail store.

Meanwhile, the upcoming virtual session will expand the initiative’s reach to a broader youth audience. Participants will gain practical insights, engage in peer discussions, and explore future-focused topics.

Mohammad Harib AlFalahi, Chief Corporate Services Officer, e&, said: “Young people are shaping the next chapter of our digital future, and it is our responsibility to create spaces where they can learn, connect and grow with confidence. Through our World Youth Skills Day activation, we are helping youth gain practical knowledge, develop leadership skills and explore the opportunities emerging from AI, technology and new ways of working. By bringing together learning, mentorship and open dialogue, we aim to support a generation that is ready to contribute to more inclusive, innovative and sustainable communities.”

He added: “By joining forces with partners such as the Federal Youth Authority, we are able to scale our efforts and co-create an environment where young talents can truly thrive. Together, we are bridging the gap between academic learning and practical digital leadership, empowering the next generation to shape a shared, digitally driven future.”

In addition, the initiative builds on e&’s broader efforts to empower youth through learning, dialogue, and access to future skills. The company launched the Youth Academy with GoLearning, providing access to more than 200 courses covering AI, data science, cybersecurity, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. The programme promotes future-ready skills, ethical awareness, and responsible leadership while helping develop the next generation of leaders.

Furthermore, the group has organised youth debate sessions, global youth talks, an AI summer camp with the Emirates Federal Youth Authority, and a youth outreach campaign.

Finally, e& continues to strengthen inclusion by supporting women, youth, and People of Determination. The company is also advancing accessibility across physical, digital, and communication environments. These efforts align with e&’s strategy to build a future-ready workforce and foster an inclusive organisation across the markets where it operates.
