e& UAE has announced a significant milestone in its AI journey, becoming the first telecom provider in the region to embed Agentic AI into its core mobile and fixed connectivity plans.

The integration brings intelligent capabilities directly into the mobile and internet services used by organisations. It is also supported by a broader ecosystem of Sovereign AI Compute.

Agentic AI can understand objectives, organise information and carry out connected sequences of tasks under defined controls. In business environments, this can help teams automate routine processes, manage workflows, respond to requests and access relevant information more efficiently.

The capability will be included in Business Pro fixed internet services and enterprise fixed-connectivity propositions, including Digital Internet and Digital Premium Internet. Meanwhile, mobile customers can access these AI services as an add-on to their existing packages.

The offering is complemented by Sovereign AI Compute, which combines access to GPU capacity in the UAE with secure, high-performance connectivity.

Esam Mahmoud, Senior Vice President, SMB, e& UAE, said businesses should not have to source AI, connectivity, security and computing from separate providers. He said e& UAE is bringing these capabilities together across services that businesses already use, including mobile and internet plans, enterprise connectivity and sovereign GPU capacity.

He added that embedding Agentic AI into Business Mobile and Business Pro Internet plans makes AI accessible from day one. Combined with sovereign AI infrastructure and a secure national network, the approach aims to help businesses adopt AI with greater confidence.

For small and medium-sized businesses, having Agentic AI built into familiar mobile and internet plans can reduce the cost and complexity associated with adopting advanced technologies. As a result, employees can spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time serving customers and supporting growth.

Larger enterprises and government entities can combine these intelligent capabilities with e& UAE’s enterprise fixed-connectivity services, including Digital Internet and Digital Premium Internet. These services can support business-critical applications, distributed operations and data-intensive workloads.

Moreover, embedding AI into its flagship propositions addresses key barriers to AI adoption, including infrastructure constraints, security considerations and the need for specialist resources. Customers can begin with AI tools within their existing connectivity environment and scale into sovereign computing, security and cloud services as their requirements evolve.

Sovereign AI Compute further expands the portfolio by providing organisations with access to UAE-based GPU capacity alongside connectivity services. It is designed to support the development, testing, training and deployment of AI applications while helping customers maintain greater control over sensitive workloads.

The approach also helps keep sensitive data within national borders, supporting organisations that need to comply with local regulatory requirements.

The introduction of Agentic AI across core propositions marks another stage in e& UAE’s development as an AI-powered telecom provider. It brings mobile connectivity, fixed internet, enterprise networking and sovereign computing into a connected portfolio designed around the growing use of AI by businesses.

AI is expected to play a major role in the UAE’s economic growth. PwC estimates that AI could contribute nearly 14% of the country’s GDP, equivalent to around US$96 billion, by 2030. This supports the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which positions AI as a key driver of economic diversification, innovation and government transformation.
