The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) has launched a new training programme to help teams integrate UAE PASS into their systems. Called “Digital Enablers Experts” (DEE), the initiative offers an integrated digital training pathway. It is designed for technical teams across government entities and private sector organisations.

The programme guides participants from understanding integration requirements to applying them in real practice. As a result, it supports faster integration processes. It also enhances readiness for operational launch.

Eng. Majed Sultan Al Mesmar, Director-General of TDRA, said investing in human capabilities is the foundation for turning digital enablers into tangible impact. “We are not simply providing training content,” he said. “We are offering a unified, practical pathway that enables entities to move from understanding UAE PASS requirements to implementing secure and effective operational integration.” He added that investing in human capabilities is what transforms digital enablers into simpler, faster, and more connected government services.

Meanwhile, UAE PASS continues to play a pivotal role in simplifying the customer experience. It reduces repetitive procedures and cuts duplication across processes. Therefore, the programme aims to help both government and private sector entities expand the use of Digital Identity services across their journeys and systems.

The programme comprises nine training modules, developed in line with the GovStack framework. Together, they cover four key stages of system integration. These begin with initiation, move through development and assessment, and end with operational launch. This practical approach helps participants understand regulatory, technical, and security requirements. In turn, it minimises operational errors and speeds up the shift from planning to implementation.

Notably, the programme stands out for its direct alignment with the real integration journey, rather than general theory alone. Each training stage connects to the actual requirements and procedures technical teams face during integration.

Once participants complete the programme, they will be able to identify integration requirements, configure technical environments, and conduct required testing. They will also be ready to prepare for operational launch according to approved standards.

Additionally, the programme offers a self-paced, interactive learning experience. It includes virtual labs and role-based content tailored to each participant’s responsibilities. It targets technical teams, service owners, solution providers, and system integrators working to onboard or enhance their integration with the ecosystem.

Ultimately, the launch reflects TDRA’s broader efforts to strengthen the UAE’s digital government ecosystem. By building institutional capabilities, the authority aims to support more connected, proactive, and secure services powered by UAE PASS.
