OPSWAT, a global critical infrastructure protection company, has announced its participation at GISEC Global 2026, taking place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre. The company will present its “Sanitize the Unseen” theme, highlighting the need for content inspection at every file entry point.

At the event, OPSWAT will showcase its newly launched AI Content Inspector. This proprietary engine focuses on content authenticity and document fraud detection. It integrates with the MetaDefender platform for both cloud and on-premises deployments. Furthermore, it uses specialized classifiers to detect AI-generated images and manipulated documents. As a result, verdicts and confidence scores help determine whether to allow, flag, block, or route content for further review.

In addition, OPSWAT will bring its interactive mobile CIP lab to the conference. This lab is designed specifically for critical infrastructure organizations. Through hands-on demonstrations, attendees can explore storage security, secure data transfer, and removable media protection. Moreover, the booth will feature dedicated areas covering IT and OT security relevant to government, energy, banking, and telecommunications sectors.

A key highlight this year is the Nuclear Plant Model Reactor. This exhibit demonstrates how coordinated IT and OT protections maintain the availability of critical systems.

Speaking about the initiative, Hussam Sidani, Vice President of META at OPSWAT, said AI-powered detection strengthens cybersecurity but cannot serve as the only line of defense. He explained that threats often adapt faster than detection models can track. Therefore, sanitizing the unseen means inspecting content thoroughly before threats can execute.

Meanwhile, OPSWAT Academy will offer a complimentary CIP certification bundle to every booth visitor. The bundle includes five associate-level certifications along with continuing professional education credits. These cover file security, secure storage, email security, and data transfer protection.
