Instagram has introduced a dynamic profile photo option. This new feature lets users display both an image and an avatar as their profile picture. Visitors can flip between the two by tapping the photo.

To use this feature, first create an avatar. Then, you can set it alongside your image. This option adds a fun, customizable touch to profiles.

To edit your avatar, open Instagram on your phone. Tap your profile or your profile photo. Then, select “Edit Profile.” Scroll to the avatar section and tap “Edit avatar.” You can change the skin tone, hairstyle, outfit, and more. After editing, tap “Done” and then “Save changes.”

Additionally, Instagram has rolled out “Quiet Mode.” This feature allows users to signal they are inactive. It is aimed especially at young users to help reduce screen time. Instagram hopes this will promote healthier usage habits.
