At the GITEX Technology Week 2023, Nokia’s Network Infrastructure (NI) is showcasing the disruptive potential of network technologies in infrastructure, pushing the boundaries of innovation and sustainability. This opens up new opportunities for the telecom industry. This annual tech event is being held from October 16th to October 20th at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC).

As a leader in global B2B innovation, Nokia is demonstrating its technological expertise to assist telecom industry customers in transforming their businesses to harness the immense potential of networks, often referred to as the ‘power of n.’

Nokia’s NI team is highlighting network automation, aiding operators in achieving multi-vendor, multi-domain assurance, multi-vendor Intent-based services fulfillment, zero-touch service provisioning, and transport slicing enablement and assurance. They are also showcasing advancements such as the path to achieving 100G over Passive Optical Network (PON) through 25G PON OLT/ONT, along with demonstrations of technologies like 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and beacon. Additionally, the team is presenting innovations like Remote 800GE Routing, security solutions featuring Deepfield, and Automated Data Center Fabric Solutions. Nokia’s recently launched 7730 Service Interconnect Router (SXR) platforms are also on display, offering a revolutionary approach by delivering the power and benefits of service routing into IP access and aggregation networks. This meets the increasing demands of broadband investments and evolving cloud network architectures.

In today’s digital age, the success of any service is heavily reliant on the quality of connectivity that supports and enables it. This quality, often referred to as premium connectivity, is not determined by its cost but by the value it adds to services. Connectivity, much like water, is an essential resource that empowers individuals by providing access to knowledge and connecting them to the world.

In our pursuit of premium connectivity, we aim to establish multi-service, multi-directional connections on a single infrastructure. The objective is to maximize utilization, meet business needs, and, most importantly, promote social impact through digital inclusion. Our vision is to transform the digital divide into a digital opportunity. This inclusive approach applies to all markets, from consumers and residential users to small and large enterprises across various industries.

Sustainability, environmental responsibility, social development, and digitalization are intertwined concepts. Without reliable and affordable connectivity, there can be no business case, digital adoption, or progress toward a green and inclusive future. Premium connectivity serves as the foundation for digital transformation, enabling individuals and organizations to leverage the vast potential of the digital world. By bridging the digital divide and providing reliable and affordable connectivity, we can empower communities, foster social sustainability, and drive inclusive growth.
