Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) has introduced a range of AI-driven innovations designed to simplify AI adoption, speed up deployment, and enhance performance for demanding workloads in multicloud environments. These new solutions also include key advancements in data protection, cyber resiliency, and security, helping joint customers strengthen their cybersecurity posture while accelerating digital transformation.
Arthur Lewis, President of Dell Technologies’ Infrastructure Solutions Group, emphasized the importance of modern IT strategies to support emerging workloads such as AI. “Organizations need solutions that help them innovate faster, control costs, and protect data across multicloud environments,” he said. “Our storage software, data protection, and services advancements help customers in Microsoft environments accelerate their transformation efforts securely.”
Dell Technologies is expanding its Dell AI Factory, collaborating with Microsoft to develop solutions tailored for AI workloads. One key solution is Dell APEX File Storage for Microsoft Azure, which will soon offer a Dell-managed option to simplify deployment and management. This solution provides enterprise-class performance, scalability, and data services through Dell PowerScale, the industry’s #1 enterprise file storage provider. Customers can easily scale their AI workloads, achieve faster time to insights, and reduce management complexity, all while seamlessly integrating with Microsoft AI tools.
To further accelerate AI adoption, Dell Technologies is introducing new services designed to simplify the deployment and management of AI solutions. Accelerator Services for Copilot+ PCs offer expert guidance on enhancing productivity and efficiency, while Services for Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Studio support the development of custom AI solutions tailored to specific business needs. Additionally, Implementation Services for Microsoft Azure AI Service help customers implement AI applications on-premises using Dell hybrid cloud solutions for Azure.
Dell Technologies also announced new data protection and security innovations aimed at helping Microsoft customers protect their data and improve cyber resiliency. Dell APEX Protection Services for Microsoft Azure delivers AI-powered cloud data protection across edge locations, remote offices, and data centers. The service enhances operational efficiency while ensuring robust data protection with features like zero-trust security, encryption, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls. It also provides advanced protection against ransomware and cyberthreats, offering efficient recovery options for both traditional and modern workloads. With AI-powered CyberSense threat intelligence, recovery times can be reduced by up to 80%.
For customers in Microsoft environments, Dell Technologies is also introducing Advisory Services for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to help align cybersecurity practices with CMMC guidelines, and Managed Detection and Response with Microsoft, which offers 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and investigation.
Aung Oo, VP of Azure Storage at Microsoft, highlighted the importance of modern IT infrastructure in helping businesses safely adopt hybrid cloud services. “Dell Technologies is enabling customers to bring their trusted platforms and enterprise data to Azure, accelerating the adoption of key technologies like Azure AI Services,” he said.
