Saudi Arabia’s globally recognized tech event, LEAP, returns for its fourth edition from February 9-12, 2025, at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham. Under the theme “Into New Worlds,” LEAP 2025 is set to revolutionize the tech landscape with its first-ever ticketed format, designed to attract a higher concentration of influential industry professionals. This exclusive approach aims to enhance networking and investment opportunities across sectors such as space, gaming, education, and smart cities.
Co-organized by Tahaluf and the Ministry for Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in collaboration with Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund, LEAP 2025 will feature over 20 stages and an impressive lineup of 1,000+ expert speakers, 1,800 global tech brands, and more than 680 startups. The event will include new additions such as LEAP Nights, a Tech Arena, a SportsTech Track, and expanded investor programs to foster innovation and collaboration.
LEAP 2025 offers attendees unique experiences, including the SportsTech Track, where the latest sports technologies will be showcased through live demos and industry announcements. Speakers include renowned figures such as Patrice Evra, former Manchester United star and successful entrepreneur, and Mathieu Flamini, co-founder of GF Biochemicals. The Tech Arena will provide hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies, while the Startup Stage will create a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs to pitch ideas, network, and explore new opportunities.
The event expands beyond convention halls with LEAP Nights, featuring cultural experiences, meetups, and live entertainment across Riyadh. Attendees can connect with global tech leaders and immerse themselves in Saudi Arabia’s vibrant culture. Enhanced investor programs will bring together over 1,500 global investors and startups, offering matchmaking zones, investor workshops, and mentorship opportunities to drive innovation and economic impact.
International tech leaders confirmed for LEAP 2025 include Ken Kutaragi, former Chairman and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Javier Tebas, President of LA LIGA, Connie Chan, General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and Andrea Vena, Chief Climate and Sustainability Officer at the European Space Agency. LEAP has previously hosted prominent figures such as IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna and Zoom Founder Eric Yuan, with more high-profile speakers expected for 2025.
His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, highlighted LEAP’s contribution to Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing its role in positioning the Kingdom as a global tech hub. Faisal Alkhamisi, Chairman of the SAFCP, described LEAP as a driving force behind nurturing talent, creativity, and investment in the tech industry, while Tahaluf CEO Michael Champion emphasized the shift to a ticketed model as a strategy to provide a more curated and impactful experience for attendees. With over $27.5 billion in investments facilitated over its first three years, LEAP 2025 is set to further accelerate innovation and economic growth, solidifying its position as a world-leading technology event.
