UAE AI Office Partners with UiPath to Boost Automation and Workforce Skills

The UAE Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has partnered with UiPath (NYSE: PATH), a global AI and automation technology firm, to advance the UAE’s National Strategy for AI. The collaboration focuses on developing AI-powered automation solutions for government entities and equipping UAE talent with critical AI skills. This initiative supports the country’s vision to become a global AI leader by 2031.

H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, met with Daniel Dines, Founder and CEO of UiPath, to announce the partnership. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the UAE AI Office, highlighted the importance of public-private collaborations in driving technological advancements and achieving the objectives of the UAE’s AI strategy.

Through this partnership, UiPath will create an AI and automation training program for up to 100 government employees and students, integrated with the Coders HQ initiative, part of the UAE’s National Program for Coders. The program will enable participants to gain hands-on experience with the UiPath Business Automation Platform and earn UiPath Certified credentials.

Zakaria Haltout, Area Vice President for Middle East and Africa at UiPath, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting it would help advance the UAE’s AI journey, empowering its workforce and creating new opportunities in business, education, and technology.

The partnership also aims to enhance government services and citizen experiences by integrating AI-powered automation. The UAE AI Office and UiPath will work on pilot projects to boost operational efficiency and improve service delivery. Additionally, UiPath will lead workshops to promote the benefits of AI automation across the UAE.

This collaboration with UiPath is a significant step toward realizing the UAE’s ambitious vision for AI-powered growth and a digitally skilled workforce.
