Qlik, a global provider of data integration, analytics, and AI solutions, has completed a significant minority investment led by a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). The transaction was first announced in November 2024 and has now received all required regulatory approvals.

Thoma Bravo, a software investment firm and Qlik’s majority owner, remains the main stakeholder. It has also made a new equity investment alongside ADIA. A select group of institutional investors participated in the deal as co-investors.

Qlik supports enterprises in moving from AI ambition to execution. Its unified platform integrates data, analytics, and governance. This helps organizations generate trusted insights and make faster, more confident decisions.

Mike Capone, CEO of Qlik, stated: “Support from Thoma Bravo and a long-term investor like ADIA reinforces the strength of our strategy and the results we’re delivering. In a market full of AI ambition, Qlik stands out for execution.”

Seth Boro, Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo, commented: “Qlik has consistently delivered real business outcomes by turning data and AI into value. Our continued majority ownership and new investment show our belief in Qlik’s platform and long-term potential.”

Mike Hoffmann, Partner at Thoma Bravo, added: “AI adoption is accelerating, and Qlik is well positioned to meet that demand. Its strength in data integration, governance, and analytics matches our long-term investment thesis in enterprise software.”

Qlik recently expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of Upsolver. It has also advanced in agentic AI and conversational analytics, strengthening its AI platform. The company remains focused on helping enterprises execute faster using open architectures and governed data.

As AI investments rise, enterprises are seeking:

  • Trusted, end-to-end data solutions
  • Scalable AI platforms that reduce costs
  • Real-time insights that support business agility

Qlik continues to gain traction as a preferred technology partner in this space.
