The Department of Government Enablement, Abu Dhabi (DGE) announced that Abu Dhabi Government is expanding its use of artificial intelligence, AI services across all government departments. This move advances the vision of rethinking how government serves people, as it prepares to showcase TAMM 4.0 at GITEX Global 2025 in October.

TAMM 4.0, launching this October, represents one of the most advanced AI-native government platforms globally. The platform redefines interactions with citizens and residents through proactive, personalized services that respond to life events.

Key features include intelligent orchestration of services across government entities, predictive delivery through machine learning, and contextual AI assistance offering multilingual guidance tailored to individual experiences. The system also enables predictive decision processing for routine approvals and compliance checks. This reduces repetitive tasks for citizens while allowing government employees to focus on higher-value interactions.

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, said, “Our goal is to help build a government that feels as simple and intuitive as the technology people use every day. TAMM 4.0 demonstrates this vision in action.”

Abu Dhabi has implemented over 100 AI use cases across more than 40 government entities. These systems enhance service delivery by predicting citizen needs, providing instant guidance for compliance, optimizing staff deployment, and offering multilingual access in more than 15 languages.

DGE has also introduced AI Majalis, community forums in the traditional majlis setting. These spaces foster dialogue and awareness about practical AI applications, blending Emirati culture with technological innovation.

The government is also transforming its workforce, with over 95% of 30,000 employees completing AI training. This prepares civil servants for an AI-driven future while ensuring responsible and ethical AI deployment. Newly created Chief Data and AI Officer roles across entities will further drive adoption, governance, and innovation.

Abu Dhabi Government’s Digital Strategy 2025-2027 aims to make the emirate the world’s first fully AI-native government by 2027. The AED13 billion initiative focuses on full AI integration, data-driven decision-making, a unified digital framework, sovereign cloud adoption, and robust cybersecurity. By 2027, Abu Dhabi plans to operate as an integrated AI ecosystem that anticipates community needs and delivers intuitive, globally adaptable public services.
