Abu Dhabi Police announced its participation in UMEX and SimTEX 2026, where it showcased a wide range of digital policing systems and advanced technologies. The participation was led by the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, along with several police sectors. The initiative highlighted efforts to enhance security operations and public safety through smart solutions.

During the exhibition, Abu Dhabi Police revealed modern equipment and digital solutions designed to support policing tasks. As a result, the pavilion attracted strong interest from specialists, visitors, and local and international delegations.

Among the key technologies presented were mobile ballistic laboratories. These systems enable on-site ballistic analysis, which helps accelerate investigations by delivering fast and accurate results. In addition, the force reported that this capability supports quicker decision-making during critical cases.

Abu Dhabi Police also introduced the “Ideas Incubator” programme. The initiative aims to encourage innovation and develop creative projects that enhance police services in line with international standards.

Another highlight was the Virtual Training Portal. The platform provides a digital training environment using three-dimensional simulation and realistic scenarios. Consequently, it allows police personnel to build skills and prepare for various field situations in a safe and controlled setting, improving readiness and response levels.

The force further revealed the “Safe City” system, which relies on artificial intelligence and smart data analysis. The system supports public safety by monitoring city movement, analysing behavioural patterns, and enabling rapid responses during incidents.

In parallel, the Emirates Centre for Electronic Evidence showcased advanced tools used to collect and analyse digital evidence. The centre reported its role in supporting cyber investigations and combating online crimes, while also focusing on building specialised capabilities in digital forensics aligned with global best practices.

Key highlights included:

  • Mobile ballistic laboratories for rapid on-site forensic analysis
  • AI-powered Safe City system supporting real-time public safety decisions
  • Advanced digital evidence tools for cybercrime and forensic investigations
