The 3rd Africa Asset Integrity Management Conference and Showcase (AIMCS Africa 2026) and the 2nd Instrumentation, Cybersecurity and Automation Conference and Showcase (ICA Africa 2026) were successfully held in Cairo from 10-12 February. The dual-conference marked another milestone for Africa’s industrial landscape. It highlighted advancements in asset integrity management, process safety, automation, cybersecurity, instrumentation, and digital transformation.

The event took place at the prestigious Triumph Luxury Hotel, New Cairo. It brought together high-caliber speakers and professionals from across Africa and international markets. The opening ceremony was led by Mr. Houssam Sabry, Managing Director of International Consultant Engineers (ICE), and Mr. Ahmed Farouk, General Manager of the Pipeline Integrity Management Centre of Excellence (PIMCOE), GASCO. Key experts from the Oil and Gas and Energy sector also participated.

Notably, Dr. Manar Helal, Cybersecurity Projects Manager at the Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources – Egypt, and Mr. Martin Robinson, Group CEO of IRISS Inc., delivered keynote addresses. They emphasized the importance of innovation, collaboration, and technology driven transformation.

The program included technical presentations, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and keynote sessions. Attendees explored operational challenges and emerging opportunities. Sessions focused on strengthening asset reliability, advancing cybersecurity strategies, enhancing automation systems, and accelerating digital transformation.

The exhibition showcased next-generation technologies and integrated solutions. Delegates experienced live demonstrations, immersive learning, and strategic networking.
