Axis Communications announced its participation at Intersec Dubai 2026, highlighting a major shift toward intelligent, AI-powered, and data-driven security systems. The company will demonstrate advanced technologies shaping the future of safety, efficiency, and smart operations across critical industries.

The 27th edition of Intersec will take place from January 12 to 14, 2026, at Dubai World Trade Centre. Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event will bring together global experts, government leaders, and technology partners to explore next-generation security and cross-sector collaboration.

Axis Communications reported that its presence at Intersec reflects a strategic focus on real-world innovation. The company revealed that organizations are increasingly moving beyond traditional surveillance toward analytics-driven systems that deliver real-time insights and support faster decision-making.

Loubna Imenchal, Managing Director for the Middle East, Türkiye, Central Asia, and Africa at Axis Communications, said surveillance is now becoming a driver of business efficiency, resilience, and informed operations across the region.

Meanwhile, Axis Communications will also mark the 20th anniversary of its UAE operations during the event. The Dubai office serves as the regional headquarters for the Middle East and Africa and has played a key role in the transition from analogue to IP, cloud, hybrid, and AI-driven security architectures.

At Intersec 2026, Axis Communications will showcase AI at the edge, revealing devices that combine advanced imaging with edge computing to generate actionable intelligence while reducing latency, bandwidth usage, and system load. The company reported that these solutions are built on its ARTPEC-9 system-on-chip, introduced in late 2024, which enhances edge processing, imaging quality, and cybersecurity.

Key technologies to be demonstrated include:

  • AI-powered network cameras, smart sensors, and edge analytics platforms
  • Unified security ecosystems integrating video, audio, radar, access control, and analytics

In addition, Axis Communications announced it will highlight its open-platform ecosystem in collaboration with global technology partners. These partnerships aim to enhance interoperability and expand the value of intelligent security solutions across sectors such as critical infrastructure, smart cities, and transportation.

The company further revealed that cybersecurity, sustainability, and total cost of ownership will remain central themes at the exhibition. Axis Communications reported that its solutions are designed to deliver long-term system value, energy efficiency, and resilient protection against evolving cyber threats.

Axis Communications will also participate in a panel discussion at the Intersec Access Control Centre, where experts will discuss emerging technologies and the future of intelligence-driven security.

The company confirmed it will exhibit at Stand S1-F24 at Dubai World Trade Centre during Intersec Dubai 2026.
