After three intensive days, the BRIDGE Summit 2025 concluded its inaugural edition in Abu Dhabi. It was held from December 8–10 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Officials reported that the event transformed the UAE capital into a global arena for the future of media, content, and technology.

Organizers announced that the Summit became the world’s largest debut media event. It established the foundations of a new global media ecosystem and opened broad opportunities for storytelling, content industries, and AI governance. The gathering also highlighted the rapid pace of digital advancement and rising technical complexity across the sector.

More than 40,000 participants attended from 182 countries. Its live broadcast on X generated 57.5 million views across 190 countries. Viewership included 11.7 million from the United States, 6.5 million from Japan, 6.3 million from the United Kingdom, 4.4 million from France, 3.9 million from Indonesia, 4 million from Brazil, 4.5 million from Saudi Arabia, and 16.2 million from the rest of the world.

The official Summit app also recorded rapid traction. It reached the #1 position in the UAE Apple Store’s Business category. It reported 5.4 million interactions, over one million searches, 32,315 messages exchanged, and 1,276 meetings completed.

Officials revealed that the Summit achieved a media reach of 834 million across traditional and digital channels. Other platforms generated more than 509 million impressions. The website registered 67,000 participants, reinforcing the global momentum behind the inaugural edition.

During the Summit, Chairman Abdulla bin Mohamed bin Butti Al Hamed and the BRIDGE team held more than 38 bilateral meetings. Discussions with global institutions and leading companies focused on collaboration, investment, and building strategic partnerships that support the new media ecosystem. The meetings expanded the Summit’s global network and strengthened its position as a central hub connecting creative and digital sectors.

The event also led to 48 MoUs and commercial agreements between international and local entities. A major announcement came from Archeo Futurus, Trillium Technologies, and Daywalker Global. The companies committed USD 200 million to establish a media and technology innovation center in Abu Dhabi in 2026.

Officials reported strong participation from youth and Gen Z. The Summit connected generations and linked sectors that traditionally operate independently. These included Media and the Creator Economy, Music and Picture, Gaming and Marketing, and Technology and AI. The Technology track became a core engine supporting new models of production, distribution, and audience experience.

Chairman Al Hamed thanked participants and said that the Summit’s purpose was to build connections and anticipate the future of media. He stated that creativity and content now function as economic engines. He added that the partnerships formed during the event would grow into real projects in the coming months.

He emphasized that the UAE’s role in media innovation continues to strengthen. He said the scale of engagement reflects the country’s commitment to responsible media and to content that balances technology with ethical standards.

Al Hamed noted that the Summit created an environment for real transformation. He said creative industries have become central to development strategies seeking diversification and long-term stability. He concluded that BRIDGE Summit is an ongoing effort built on serious partnerships and steady work.

Vice Chairman Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi said the Summit gave media and content a new voice at a critical time. He reported that it brought together journalists, creators, and decision-makers to shape a more balanced and human-centered media future. He added that the event advanced tools for content production, strengthened information integrity, and improved coordination among governments, technology firms, and media institutions.

Dr. Al Kaabi said the BRIDGE Alliance will ensure that future editions keep pace with fast change in media and content. He emphasized that global summits are launch pads for ideas that deliver measurable results and sustainable impact.

Over three days, the BRIDGE Summit became a live working platform for diplomats, policymakers, business leaders, creators, and global talent. It mapped out a practical guide for the emerging media landscape. It also connected sectors and industries across cinema, gaming, newsrooms, podcasts, social platforms, and virtual reality.

Experts reported that modern media now requires rebuilding its values and strengthening credibility. Discussions emphasized the need for human-centered storytelling after years dominated by short-form content. Participants also stressed the importance of flexible frameworks for AI and responsible use of generative tools.

The Summit also addressed information integrity, creator-economy sustainability, and the rise of new production models. It highlighted the growing importance of Web3, digital ownership, and transparent economic ecosystems.

By spotlighting the UAE’s advanced position, BRIDGE Summit 2025 reinforced the country’s role as a global center shaping the future of media and technology.
